Pamela Bailey

Pam Bailey co-founded We Are Not Numbers, a storytelling project that became a Penguin Random House book in 2025. After returning to the US from Gaza, she worked in the nonprofit sector, where an interview with The Wire creator David Simon reignited her focus on crime, punishment, and incarceration. That work led her to co-found More Than Our Crimes.
